Linzy Reinders, our Canadian Pre Service Teacher, says THANK YOU!
The past 9 weeks have really flown by! My time in Australia has been a blast and was made a success by so many friendly people at Chelsea Heights Primary School.
Jenny Stokes has been nothing less than great at helping me become adjusted to Australia, supplying me with heaps of resources and of course helping me become a wonderful teacher like herself. She also lent me a bicycle which has made my transportation much easier.
I would like to thank Jane Satchwell, John Mace and Donna Tesone for allowing and welcoming me into such a fabulous school. I really appreciate everything all the staff and students have helped me with and could not be more honored to say that I taught in Australia. I will always remember my grade 2A class and will miss them when I’m gone!
My stay here could not have been possible without the openness of the grandparents of Cody, Jules, and Alyx Ingram. Terry and Leigh Fennell opened their house to me for my long stay and drove me around to countless places so I could see Australia. Their kindness is more than I ever expected and I am continually caught off guard by their generosity. I cannot put in words how thankful I am to have been able to stay with such a nice family!
My last day will be April 3rd, I must return to Wisconsin to graduate in May. I will miss Australia and all the friends I have met here. With some luck I hope to return to Australia soon!
