Wellbeing at Chelsea Heights Primary School
At Chelsea Heights Primary School, our core focus is on delivering high-quality teaching and learning. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student can achieve their personal best. We recognise that wellbeing plays a vital role in helping students to access the curriculum, engage in their learning, and build positive relationships.
Friendology – Supporting Positive Friendships
Chelsea Heights Primary School is proud to deliver URStrong’s Friendology program as part of our approach to social and emotional learning. Friendology explicitly teaches students how to develop and maintain healthy, respectful friendships. Through this program, students learn:
Friendology equips students with essential skills for building strong, positive relationships, which in turn supports their success in the classroom and in life.

Play Leaders and Lunchtime Clubs
We actively promote student leadership and positive play through our Play Leaders Program, where trained student leaders from senior year levels facilitate inclusive games and activities for younger students during lunch breaks. This program helps build leadership skills while encouraging safe, cooperative, and active play across the schoolyard.
Students at Chelsea Heights also have the opportunity to join a variety of lunchtime clubs, offering something for everyone. Our clubs include:
These clubs create additional opportunities for students to explore their passions, build friendships, and engage with peers in structured, supportive settings.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club currently runs twice a week our of our school canteen and provides students with a healthy start to the day in a friendly and inclusive environment.
Students can enjoy breakfast, spend time with friends and staff, and arrive in the classroom ready to learn. The program supports wellbeing, positive connections and a strong sense of community, helping every child begin their day feeling welcomed and supported.
